Krishna Arjun film in hindi
Krishna Arjun is a film genre that combines elements of mythology, comedy, action and romance. It is based on the concept of Lord Krishna coming to the aid of his devotee Arjun in times of trouble. There are two films with this title, one released in 1997 and another in 2008.
Krishna Arjun (1997)
Krishna Arjun is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language action film, produced and directed by Shailendra Shukla under the Prerna Films International banner. It stars Jeetendra, Vivek Mushran, Karina Grover, Upasna Singh and music composed by Arup-Pranay.
The plot revolves around Arjun, an orphan who is ill-treated by everyone. He is forced to marry Satya, the sister of a landlord, who plans to kill him and marry her off to a rich man. However, Lord Krishna comes to his rescue and gives him some powers to overcome the evil forces. The film ends with Arjun dying and being revived by Krishna.
The film was a flop at the box office and received negative reviews from critics. It was criticized for its poor script, direction, acting and music. The only positive aspect of the film was the performance of Jeetendra as Krishna.
Krishnarjuna is a 2008 Indian fantasy comedy film produced by M.Mohan Babu on his Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures banner and directed by P. Vasu. Starring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Manchu Vishnu and Mamta Mohandas. The music composed by M. M. Keeravani.
The plot follows a similar pattern as the previous film, with Arjun being an orphan who is married to Satya, whose brother wants to kill him and marry her to a rich man. However, this time Lord Krishna takes the form of Bangaram, a modern-day conman who befriends Arjun and helps him outsmart his enemies. The film also has some subplots involving Baba, an astrologer who predicts Satya's first husband's death, Nallama Nayakkar, a local don who wants to kill Bangaram, and Hidayath Ali Khan, a police officer who is after Bangaram.
The film was also a box office failure and received mixed reviews from critics. It was praised for its comedy, special effects and Nagarjuna's performance as Krishna/Bangaram, but criticized for its weak story, logic and direction.
Krishna Arjun films are an example of how mythology can be adapted to suit different genres and audiences. However, they also show how such adaptations can fail if they are not executed well. Both films had potential to be entertaining and inspiring, but they lacked originality, creativity and quality.
